Russia: Russian beer market increased by 4.5% during the first quarter

During the first 3 months of 2006, a 4.5% market growth exceeded the predicted figures, experts have recently reported.

The trends of the Russian beer market in 2006 revealed a predicable 4-6% grow in comparison with 2005, according to estimations dated on the 1st of May, 2006.

In 2005 the growth of the Russian beer production amounted 6.5% up to 89.2 million hl.
